KBR Contributes $400,000 to the NC Health Center Incubator Project

The Trust has awarded a $400,000 grant to the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) to support prospective Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) through the developmental and application process.  North Carolina is severely underrepresented in both FQHC numbers and distribution, particularly in light of the income and access barriers pervading many regions throughout the state.  The grant represents an integral part of the Trust's Medical Home Development Initiative, the goal of which is to support and collaborate with the NCCHCA, as well as with other state and local organizations, to address the issue of medical home access.
