As the Trust’s information systems manager, Alan designs, implements and manages the technology infrastructure to support the mission of the Trust. From servers to software, phones to faxes, he is charged with ensuring that our systems are secure, efficient and functional. He enjoys working for an organization with the mission of making the world a better, healthier place.
Prior to coming to the Trust, Alan worked at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro in various roles, working to develop and maintain the various technology systems of the organization. Previous to that, he worked in the network communications services department for Ciba-Geigy Limited in Basel, Switzerland.
Alan grew up in Vermont and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Management Information Systems. He co-founded the Stokesdale Youth Football Association in 2007, a local youth football and cheer program that serves more than 75 young boys and girls, often youth previously overlooked by youth programming, in Northwest Guilford and Southwest Rockingham Counties. The program has expanded from 4 to 10 towns since it began.
When he’s not in the office, Alan enjoys watching his son Brad play baseball and completing renovation projects around the house with his wife, Donna.
