Robeson County Teen Court Youth Services
Programmatic funds to support community-based research and education efforts that engage residents in the process to better understand and build awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and toxic stress.
North Carolina Community Health Center Association
Programmatic funds to help rural health centers test and implement telehealth and telemonitoring technology to improve patient outcomes. Funds will support the state association of federally qualified health centers to test telehealth and telemonitoring systems in clinics that treat low-income patients. This project also will fund a nurse to help health centers integrate technology into workflow. This will allow the association to better assist centers when choosing and purchasing technology solutions.
Bakersville Community Medical Clinic, Inc.
Continuation of the substance abuse screening and treatment program. These services will be rendered in the primary care setting and will target low-income individuals in Mitchell and surrounding counties.
United Way of Forsyth County, Inc.
