Cornell Wright

Executive Director, North Carolina Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities

Cornell Wright is executive director of the North Carolina Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities, where he works to eliminate health disparities among all racial and ethnic minorities and other underserved populations in the state. He previously served as outreach and screening patient navigation coordinator for the Duke Cancer Institute’s Office of Health Equity and Disparities. Mr. Wright also worked as interim director of community and multicultural health initiatives with the American Heart Association and as programs manager with the Center for Health and Healing, a nonprofit affiliate of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
