Lead Coordinator, Forsyth Community Food Consortium

Marcus Hill is lead coordinator for the Forsyth Community Food Consortium, a food policy council whose mission is to enhance regional food systems. As an organizer in the local food movement, he helped transform a small farmers market into the Cobblestone Market; he helped create a monthly Chaos Cooking event that won an ECHO Award from the Winston-Salem Foundation; and he served as a researcher and writer on a food assessment report led by Forsyth Futures. Mr. Hill also is on the Community Leadership Council for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.
