The source provides the listings of the licensed facilities by the type of services they provide their client. Listings include adult care homes, Ambulatory Surgical, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Family Care Homes, Home Care All (Home Care, Hospice, Home Health Services and Nursing Pool), Home Care Facility with Hospice Services Only (Home Care subset), Home Health Services All (Home Care subset), Home Health Services with Hospice Services Only (Home Care subset), Hospice, Hospital, Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health Facility, Mental Health Private Psychiatric Hospitals, and Nursing Home. Most of the listings are at the county level.

This data source can be used to compare the density of licensed facilities within NC counties and can be used to advocate for better access to clinical care.
