United Way Closing Financial Deficit with Philanthropic Support

A funding initiative involving United Way of Forsyth County’ and three Forsyth philanthropic organizations will aid the nonprofit group toward resolving an unexpected shortfall in the 2023–2024 annual fundraising campaign.

Participating are Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, Winston-Salem Foundation and Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. They are providing a combined $700,000 that United Way said will “support its funded partners working in the critical areas of economic mobility, safety nets and basic needs.”
