Like many parts of the state, rural Healthy Places NC communities are working to address high food insecurity and obesity rates. To assist stakeholders in Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Robeson, Bladen and Columbus counties in building a more equitable food system, the Trust will support efforts aimed at collecting data and mapping systems or implementing local action plans.
