Programmatic funds to increase sustainability for member clinics and to better position members to participate in North Carolina’s changing health care environment. Funds will support personnel to assist member clinics to fulfill the mandate that they connect to the state’s Health Information Exchange system by June 2019. Funding will be utilized to investigate, and potentially develop, arrangements that allow charitable clinics to receive reimbursement for uninsured patients and will provide partial salary support for personnel and technical assistance.
