NC Community Takes Collaborative Approach to Opioid Crisis

A community-based approach to substance misuse in North Carolina is providing a model for responding to the opioid crisis.

As part of a nationwide settlement agreement with drug manufacturers, North Carolina will receive about $1.4 billion through 2038.

Some of those funds support initiatives from the Southeastern Prevention and Addiction Recovery Resource Center Coalition, or SPARC, in Robeson County.
