Columbus County Key Informant Opioid and AOD Survey

The Columbus County Key Informant Opioid, Alcohol and Other Drug Survey collects survey participants’ demographics, attitudes toward existing resources, future support and service needed, and the perspective on service improvement and the impact of substance use on local systems and in Columbus County, NC. It is framed as a key informant interview and has wide-ranging questions that ask participants to reflect on both the systems present, community impact, and personal experiences. Furthermore, it includes an example of “snowball sampling” by asking to be connected with others in the community who have relevant insights.

This survey could be used to inform data collection as part of a substance misuse needs assessment or strategic planning work.
