Nora Ferrell

Director of Communications

At the Trust

I care about public policy issues ranging from health care to education to water quality to homelessness. That’s why I’ve spent years helping nonprofits and foundations tell their stories. My work includes creating communications strategies to advance the work of the Trust and our grantees, supporting grantees’ communications capacity, and making the world of philanthropy understandable to everyone.

My Proudest Accomplishment

I led the Trust team in planning and executing the Trust’s statewide 75th anniversary events and announcement that the foundation would divest from tobacco and commit to socially responsible investing. I am proud of the trust we built with grantees and community members through this work, and I hope our foundation’s leadership in this space will continue to encourage other organizations on the journey of truth, repair and transformation.
