Governor Proclaims September as PACE Month in North Carolina

The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust congratulates the North Carolina PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Association for their work assisting the state’s elderly as Governor Pat McCrory proclaims that September be recognized as PACE Month in North Carolina. The Trust’s involvement with PACE dates back to 2006 and continues today as the Trust seeks to make strategic investments that will improve the design and delivery of behavioral health services to older North Carolinians, especially in rural areas of the state. The Trust’s support for PACE serves as a continuation of our commitment to sustainable, evidence-based grant making. PACE programs across the state will be hosting a variety of events this month as they continue raising awareness and support for their work providing comprehensive health care and services that allow individuals 55 years and older who qualify for a nursing home to remain in the community with their friends and family.
