Community Data Platform

The Community Data Platform (CDP) is a cloud-based AWS MySQL database with over 1,000 metrics sourced from public sources, regional anchor institutions, and our partners. As part of our commitment and mission to democratize data, this platform enables data-driven goals, shared measurement, and resource alignment within the North Carolina community.

With the CDP tool, viewers can access primary and secondary North Carolina data resources, including: economy, education, childhood, demographics, geography, transportation, housing, justice, civics, environment, social support, and health. These resources can be used to identify which neighborhoods/populations are experiencing health disparities, and what is being done to address them. The tool allows you to easily collect and display data and visualizations within reports, presentations, and grant proposals.
