Devereux Early Childhood Assessment for Infants Record Form

The early childhood assessment for infants and toddlers provides growth benchmarks for individual infants and toddlers, which can be completed by parents, caregivers, and/or teachers. The rating scale serves as an effective tool to measure individual growth in a four-week time frame. This tool would be appropriate for child development of specific behaviors, and their developmental benchmarks in general.

It can be used by early childhood educators, mental health professionals, and caregivers to identify areas where children may need additional support or intervention, such as emotional regulation or relationship-building. It can also be used to track a child’s progress over time to inform their practice and improve outcomes for young children.
