Nourishing Forsyth Latine

This report describes a community-led survey that was done to understand the awareness level of ACEs, toxic stress, and trauma in the Latine community in Forsyth County. Community researchers were recruited from the Forsyth Latine community and trained to carry-out the survey by research consultants. The survey was used to understand data-driven avenues for advocacy and local programming to support the healing of and prevention of ACEs in the community.

This tool can be used to learn from an example of community research where researchers are intentionally recruited from the community and trained to carry out the research. Users will also gain an understanding of the burden of ACEs in Forsyth’s Latine community and identify protective factors that can prevent and mitigate the impact of ACEs.
