Stacey Abrams shared her passion for writing children’s books during her appearance Saturday at the Bookmarks Festival for Books and Authors in downtown Winston-Salem.
Abrams, the former Georgia House minority leader, talked about her newly released book, “Stacey Speaks Up,” to nearly 700 people at First Baptist Church.
Abrams spoke about her writing career with Dr. Laura Gerald, the president of the Katie B. Reynolds Charitable Trust in Winston-Salem.
