On Thursday, November 1, McDowell county community members, including neighborhood activists, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and Marion city officials, came together for a conversation with the Trust about improving health throughout the county. The conversation tackled such issues as substance abuse and obesity reduction. The Trust is committed to funding efforts to address these issues in McDowell county through its Healthy Places NC initiative.
