Youth Disconnect in America

The annual report provides data on disconnected youth; or teens and young adults ages 16-24 who are neither working nor in school. Measure of America calculated youth disconnection rates using the employment and enrollment data U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey (ACS). Along with national statistics, the data is stratified by neighborhood; county; metropolitan area; congressional district; and state.
