North Carolina Early Care and Education Data Repository
This is a data repository of early education monthly factsheets for all counties in North Carolina. The factsheets discuss everything from number and types of early care and education programs to the economic status childcare need of families within the county.
Opportunity Youth: County Level Estimates
This blog post describes researchers’ methodology for calculating a Youth Opportunity indicator using the American Community Survey microdata or individual record data.
Ensuring an Equitable Recovery: Addressing Covid-19’s Impact on Education
The annual report provides data on disconnected youth; or teens and young adults ages 16-24 who are neither working nor in school. Measure of America calculated youth disconnection rates using the employment and enrollment data U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey (ACS). Along with national statistics, the data is stratified by neighborhood; county; metropolitan area; congressional district; and state.

This report summarizes the findings and recommendations from a community assessment aimed at examining the context and landscape of victim services in Forsyth County.
Nourishing Forsyth Latine
This report describes a community researcher-led survey that was done to understand the awareness level of ACEs, toxic stress, and trauma in the Latine community in Forsyth County.
Trauma Resilient Community Mezzo-Level Assessment: Systems and Institutions

National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey
The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) measures the health and nutritional status of adults and children in the United States and includes both interviews and physical examinations. In addition to demographic, socioeconomic, dietary, and health-related questions, the NHANES also contains medical, dental, and physiological measurements, as well as laboratory tests administered by highly trained medical professionals.
North Carolina Data Portal
The North Carolina Data Portal provides users with access to data, maps, and tools required to conduct community health assessments and other public health activities. North Carolina’s NC Data Portal is poised to serve as the primary source of secondary health data for most local health departments.
