Our Data Resource Library now offers tools and reports relevant to our Health Improvement and Local Impact programs. You can browse through all content or select topics such as ACES, Early Childhood Education, Medicaid, Social Determinants of Health and more.

Roadmap of Need (2019)
The North Carolina Roadmap of Need (2019) is a county-level, child-focused needs assessment report. Counties in NC are ranked based on various wellness indicators in four domains: health, youth behavior and safety, education, and economic development. This report can be used to see an overview of child-focused indicators of wellbeing, compare across counties, and advocate for resources or change.
Metrics that Matter
This Rural Opportunity Institute blog post from 2018 details the process and lessons learned from system-mapping activity related to trauma and resilience in Edgecombe County, NC. Examples are provided for data collectors to capture more context in the community and tell the full story in the data.
