The Mapping Medicare Disparities tool is available in English and Spanish.

The North Carolina Disease Event Tracking and Epidemiologic Tool

This report is a surveillance system that presents opioid overdose ED visit data in North Carolina. It is updated approximately bi-monthly, and users can access the data reports at the state and county levels. Additionally, the ED visits data are stratified by opioid type, age, race and ethnicity, and health insurance coverage. The drug overdose death data are also available from the website.

North Carolina Hospital Discharge Data Descriptive Statistics

This report provides county-level patient discharge statistics for inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients. The data are stratified by age and race and ethnicity. When applicable, the data can be accessed by hospital, facility, and payer. The data source also offers graphs and maps for users to explore and analyze the data visually.

Using this tool, you can see an overview of your county’s status and challenges, and compare them with other counties / communities in the state.
