Participatory Asset Mapping Toolkit
This guide is a resource developed by the Advancement Project by Healthy City to support Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in leveraging community knowledge and assets for advocacy. Focusing on Participatory Asset Mapping, it combines participatory mapping and asset mapping to identify and document community assets. The toolbox provides practical guidance for hosting asset mapping events, conducting workshops, and conducting research within the Community Based Participatory Action Research framework. It emphasizes community-based organizations that actively engage residents and aims to amplify community voices in decision-making. This guide can be used to help organizations identify community assets, empower communities, and create positive change at the local level.
County Health Rankings & Roadmaps
This data source produces annual county health ranking reports at the state and county levels. The rankings are based on a variety of health factors that influences the wellbeing of the communities, including health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment. In addition to the rankings, this data source provides guidance and additional resources for the stakeholders to improve health outcomes and promote health equity in their communities.
An Introductory Guide to Implementation
This guide provides a framework and concept associated with policy and program implementation for a wide range of audiences, from policymakers to researchers to many others. The tool includes the specific stages taken, evidence-based information, barriers, and historical context regarding implementation.
Update to Bladen County Substance Use Strategic Plan
This report summarizes progress on the 2019 strategic plan. It includes statistics such as EMS overdose calls in Bladen County 2021, overdose deaths by age, race/ethnicity, and gender in Bladen County 2016–2020, etc. Further recommendations, along with the estimated budget for the next five years, are made based on the results that have been achieved.

This a brief guide to develop a regional food system model to drive economic development, improve food supply chain, strengthen partnership among diverse stakeholders, and enhance resilience and equity in the local food system. This guide is also a collaboration among 17 counties in North Carolina.
Measuring Racial Equity in the Food System: Established and Suggested Metrics
This report provides comprehensive metrics regarding food and agriculture in the United States for measuring racial equity status in food systems, which are intentionally selected and categorized by Food Access, Food and Farm Business, Food Chain Labor, and Food Movement for the purpose of county, state, or national use.
